"Ishan Srushti" (2003 -2005) a residential complex of 141 apartment was designed by a renowned Architect applying principles of sustainable architecture. Featuring:

Massing and elevations designed in a way so as to keep the buildings and the central recreation area in shade |

Minimum reforms in the natural topography |
All this aimed at reducing heat absorption by buildings resulting into less use artificial (electric) cooling.

All this aimed at reducing the environmental impact and to reduce the maintenance cost for the residents.
The real challenge was to construct it by adhering to these principles and yet creating a modern urban housing complex at affordable prices.
Today 100% of the apartments are inhabited by happy and contended families |
